I've read some of other fans' work and they inspired me to do this. I've never write Sci-Fic before, so I need your feedback to see how I've faired. I'm going to start off the 1st few chapter by creating a new ending for "EoE". I personally do not like that ending, so in my story is actually my desired ending to the movie.
I'm planning to include some new character after the new ending. I think I'll write about their lives (like many other writers have done) after the 1st few chapters. I plan this to be a happy story, and not a mysterious and sad one like the original, therefore, there will be many changes to the characters, look out.
This story is ,like the original series, about humility. Relationship and all that. There will NOT be too much of detail in fighting scene or descriptions of character. The heart and soul of the story are the events that happen.

I've just finished the 1st two chapter and that was sorta my desired ending. Just for your info. I've never like Gendou, so I killed him, sorry if you are a fans of him. I'm two other things which I'm sorry for. 1stly, I did not let Asuka talked at all. But don't worry, she is going to be having same importance as any other main characters in the later part of the series. 2nd thing is the lack of emotion. I've included too much fighting and too little emotional stuff in the 1st 2 chapter, I'm planning to make up for that in the next few chapters.
It was also my intention to keep the chapter short. No special reason, just my preference. If you want to know why the EVA-PM did not regenerate after the 2nd chapter, it was because in my opinion, after the EVAs/angels/anything are pined on by Longinus Spear, it will lose its power of regenerating. I've that opinion because, in the TV series, Lilith only start to regenerate after EVA-00 pulled out the Longinus spear from it. As to the question of where did the spear which pinned the last EVA comes from, it was the spear from the moon. (remember the one which Rei threw)

This chapter seemed to be longer. Questions arose about the true identity of Chyaku, Matsuki and Horoshi. Who are they? What is their background? Why did Misato dislike them? All this you will find out at the later chapters.
Chapter 3 is very different from the 1st 2. Firstly, it is no longer associated with the Movies. Secondly, new original characters are added. Thirdly, Asuaka talked. 4thly, there start to be a slight build on the emotions. I don't know if I've done well, I need your feedback.
Lastly, I hope that you understand the relationships between the character. Chyaku and Matsui have actually be gf/bf since they worked in UN. I know the development of the other 2 relationships was a bit too sudden, but that was for the plot.
And you mean what was the other pilots doing in the car when Misato brought the 3 new comers to Nerv? They just get discharged. I've assumed that Misato was discharged earlier and had held a meeting with Fuyusuki, where she was exposed to their background. Therefore, the only peoples who know their background now are Fuyusuki, Misato and myself, the author.

I'm going to name this chapter as "The value of life". It will have only little fight against angel, therefore, you may want to skip this if you are only interested in actions. I'm doing this to, as I've said, make up for the 1st 3 chapters which was pure action.
Just to clarify with you. All the children (Shinji, Asuka, Rei, Chyaku, Matsuki are Horoshi) are 16. And the name EVA-14 is used because it is built after the 9 EVA-PM (05-13).

The last two chapters looked like love stories than Sci-fic, sorry if you don't like that. Nice to see Misato finally become more friendly to the new comers, isn't it? Oh yar, for your information, it was proven by scientists that having sex the night before will low your concentration in the next day.
In the next chapter, I plan to continue the story with Chyaku and Matsuki in Hong Kong. Another bits of their background will be revealed. Just some clarification, the children, and other Nerv personnel (except Fuyusuki and Misato) only knows that the 3 were from UN, they have, however, no idea of what their works back at UN were about.

Post-chapter 6
Hey, I got this done over the new year. This is the Beginning of the real 21 century. Okie enough crap, back to the story. So Chyaku and Matsuki, like all other pilots, lost their mothers. Misato was losing confidence after the damage done to Asuka and Rei. Her usual self will not bother to discuss with Matsuki, even if they now have a better relationship.
This chapter is short compared to the previous 2. The main part of this chapter set in Hong Kong, and I think it is absolutely crazy if I'm too talk about Matsuki's shopping trips for each day. Another thing which they kept from the others were the ability to drive. This will not affect the story too much, though. But there are always many other things which others do not know about the 3 new comers, much might come important in the next few chapters.
I'm having this crazy thought in my mind that I may want to include something from another well-known Sci-Fic, Gundam. Not bad to see F-91 fighting side by side will EVA-01, isn't it?

Post Chapter 7
The Gundam really appeared. The characters from the Gundam series are still very little, I took the character from my favorite series. Chyaku have lost nearly all his confident, that is something like Shinji in the original series. But let me tell you now, he will recover, because I still need the weapon specialist in my story (and for another reason, which I will write it here after chapter 10).
You should have realized that Matsuki is actually familiar to the Gundam pilots, you will find out more.

Post-Chapter 8
As I have said before, Chyaku will recover. Chyaku showed the importance of Matsuki in his life in the process. So the Gundam used to belonged to UN, that explained why Matsuki was able to call out their name in the earlier chapter.
To tell you the truth, this story will end in Chapter 10. But if the responds are good I'll make sure that I will write some more for your reading pleasure. This is a action packed chapter. Very simple chapter. Who actually produced the Longinus Spear? And what were Matsuki, Chyaku and Horoshi, and even Ritsuko, talking about before the Spear was thrown.? All this will be out by the next chapter.

Pre-Chapter Final
This comming chapter is going to be mysteries solving. All the unknown question will be answered. But it is not going to contain action at all, so for those who are only interested in fights, this is going to be a disappointment. In fact for those who are interested in fight more than any thing else, the whole series is a disappointment, because as I've wrote in the 1st entry, this story is not about Robot war, but about humility. The approach is of course different form the original series, but the theme is still humanity.

So, how was the ending. I definitely is not gong to through a depression, judging from the ending.
Now, for some confession. Chyaku's personalities and character is actually.....of all people, me, the writer. I really used to break down after one failure. The difference between myself and Chyaku is that I'm not that great in weapons and my parents are alive.
Matsuki's personalities and characters are taken from my current girlfriend. Her leadership quality and ability to control all most any situations are real. The differences again are her parents are still alive and she isn't working as tactical operator.
Horoshi is the mixture some a few of my close friends. You realized that Horoshi is very outstanding in fitness and whatever, but there were little about his internal world. By the way, none of my friends around me are EVA pilots.

Chapter 9.1? This is the beginning of another story, which will have less and less contact with the original. I'm working on this, at the same time considering the possibility of putting adding some "director cuts in ""Let the life begin"" ". So, lots coming up.

Again? SAME thing? I can't write anything out, so it is still pre-chapter. What the ....Just got some bad feedback from my g/f, especially about the chapter "Holiday". Well, maybe I should not have put the "confession" in. Well....what should I write? Like say......arh still can't think of anything. Lime? No, no way. I'll be killed if I do that.

Okay, away from that......talk about chapter 9.1. This stories happed between chapter 9 and 10, so 9.1. The first chapter of the new story is 9.1.1, the 2nd chapter will be 9.1.2...logical?

WEll...I don't think I need to explain why is this "pre-chapter 9.1" again, look to the previous entry if you must know. I've added in a guestbook and a counter. I know I should have that earlier, but I was so into the story that I forgot about the importance of site maintenance.
Thanks for the one who e-mailed me about the error about EVA-01. Yes, in the actual story, EVA-01 no longer need a cable, but I've make him use one, for the sake of the plot again. In fan's fic, I guess you just have to allow some changes, really sorry if you do not like it. I might consider re-writing chapter one if you feel that is is a unpardonable mistake.
By the way, thanks for dealing with my "fussy" request so quickly, Kim Pardue.
Another thing, one of my "pre-reader" said that my story is too idealistic. Which I cannot deny, but I love idealistic story. Anyway, he sent me a alternate ending.....a pretty sad one, but I may still put it up.

Post re-editing of chapter 1-5
I've fixed up some major mistake in chapter 1-5. The plot have not changed at all, but some extra parts were added in. I would like to take this opportunity to tell you once again that this isn't a Lime story. All sex content were for the propose of the plot, okie, maybe except holiday, which also have some connection with the plot. The chapter "holiday" was mainly used for lightening the atmosphere, after the darker chapter of "internal rivalry". Let's say Chyaku and Matsuki behaved like UN Military Men, he might be able to drive back with no delay, which caused break down.
I would also like to say sorry able the contradiction with the original series. Firstly is the cable thingy which I talked about in the last entry. Another thing is the identity of Rei. I took her identity as in the original series and movie, but if that is the case, her sexual contact with Shinji was sick. (It was like a mother/sister doing it with her own son/ half-brother) I'll try to explain this in one of my side stories or series 2.
Talking about series 2, I've completed a few chapters and my pre-readers are doing their job now.

Post re-editing of chapter 5-10
Again, I've fixed up some more errors. Only major errors which I feel will affect the understanding of the stories are fixed. About the Rei/Shinji issue. After a discussion with Matsuki(?), I've decided on one explanation, just watch out for that (I am not saying that it will not contradict the original, but that is the best I can do. Oh yar, I kept to my principle, the explanation is possible on theory, with the technology of 2001AD.) Alright, if I have think of it earlier, I'll not have to read up on all those genetic thingy.

post reading of complaint letters(?)
Okay, I've enough complaint about my character being out of character (OOC). I think I might as well put this entry on the front page as well. The characters opened out a lot a lot. To the matter of fact, I re-structured the internal world of the characters. Shinji have been given a backbone, and accepted that not everything is his fault. Rei have been implanted with lots of emotions. Asuka is no longer that arrogant. As to the reason why, ....erm....I'll put chapter 2.1.1 up when the time comes. That chapter will explain everything regarding the OOC thingy. What? Must give some sort of explanation by today? Ok....How about this? After they survived through chapter 1 and 2, they learnt to work and a team and live like a family. Rei opened up after starting a relationship with Shinji. You have to be happy with this explanation for the time being. Of course, comments, suggestions and criticisms will be looked at. So pass me a E-mail .

Finally, the series two is up. This is just chapter one of the series 2. In case you still do not know, series two takes place betwen chapter 9 and 10 of series 1. It is special story, if you have read chapter 10 before this, you will know the ending, but series two will make you wonder why would there be such ending. If you have not yet read chapter 10, the mysteries will continue to build up. Hopefully that will keep you interested.
Back to this chapter, the 1st mystery is already in, the new hot chick, Yapioko Kaichi, isn't dead. Matsuki shot right through her heart in chapter 9, but she somehow survived. Of course, there are reasons behind.
Lastly, and most importantly, millions thanks to all my pre-readers. Many many thanks, really, I'll set up the credit page as soon as possible.
